[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte ON, the sales channel for Lotte Duty Free's duty-free inventory, experienced a surge in visitors immediately after the sales started on the 23rd, causing access disruptions.
As of 10:06 AM on the same day, the Lotte ON mobile application displays a message saying, "Connection is difficult due to network issues," and "We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check your network connection." The online site is also experiencing slow loading times and unstable access.
Starting from 10 AM on the 23rd, Lotte ON is selling inventory from over 50 overseas luxury brands from Lotte Duty Free. The sale is themed "Mind Quarantine Luxury Sale" and offers duty-free products at prices up to 60% lower than market prices.
The luxury inventory sold on Lotte ON is genuine merchandise directly imported by Lotte Duty Free. Since Lotte Duty Free handles the customs clearance process and delivery, the products offer reliability and convenience.
