Lotte Department Store Hosts 'Korea Fashion Market'... Up to 80% Off on Apparel

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Department Store announced on the 23rd that it will hold the 'Korea Fashion Market,' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Fashion Industry Association, to overcome the economic crisis caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to stimulate consumption.

Lotte Department Store will offer discounts of up to 80% on popular fashion brand clothing at event venues in four stores: Main Store, Jamsil Store, Nowon Store, and Incheon Terminal Store, from the 26th to the 28th for three days. During the event period, customers who purchase event products will receive a 10% gift certificate based on the purchase amount, and when paying with L.Pay, they will earn 5% LPOINT, allowing them to receive up to 15% benefits.

To support small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, Lotte Department Store selected 95 fashion brands in categories such as women's, men's, outdoor, and sportswear through close consultation with the Korea Fashion Industry Association from the initial planning stage. These brands will engage in win-win activities by supporting sales channels and reducing margins, while offering customers products with greater discounts and benefits to provide reasonable shopping opportunities.

The Nowon Store will sell outdoor and women's clothing at the event venue on the 7th floor. Special price products include 'The North Face' T-shirts from previous seasons at a uniform price of 20,000 won, and off-season (winter season) popular products at a uniform price of 30,000 won. 'K2' and 'Eider' will offer previous season products at discounts of up to 70%, and 'Discovery' will be discounted up to 40%.

At the Main Store's 9th-floor event hall and the Incheon Terminal Store's 1st-floor event hall, women's fashion products will be showcased. The Main Store will offer 'Juke' spring and summer products at up to 65% off and fall and winter products at up to 70% off, while the Incheon Terminal Store will present 'Izzat Baba' with discounts ranging from 40% to 80%.

Kim Daesu, Executive Director of Lotte Department Store, stated, "This event was prepared to provide practical support to fashion companies struggling due to COVID-19," and added, "We will continue various win-win events to overcome the economic situation together."
