[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Sangmyung University announced on the 20th that Professor Yang Seok-jun of the Department of Business Administration has published a book titled "Agri-food Marketing in the Era of Economic Low Growth." This book is a publication of research results conducted last year with support from Sangmyung University. It is a book that can resolve questions about the rapidly changing agri-food distribution market, which has been affected by the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) crisis during the low-growth era. Professor Yang majored in Agricultural Chemistry at Seoul National University’s College of Agriculture, studied Business Administration in graduate school, and worked as a merchandise planner (MD) in the livestock and agricultural sectors at a large corporation. In the book, he emphasizes that "the old methods no longer apply in the agri-food distribution field," and expresses hope that it will serve as a guide to understanding which markets are growing even in the low-growth era, the characteristics of complex distribution channels, and marketing strategies.
