According to their agency Big Hit Entertainment on the 19th, BTS's fourth full-length album released in February, 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7', sold approximately 429,000 copies, topping the 'Album Ranking' in the 'Oricon First Half Ranking 2020 by Work Sales'.
This is the first time since Michael Jackson's legendary album 'Thriller' in 1984 that a foreign artist's album has ranked first in Oricon's first half album sales.
