Hunezion Expands Business Area by Supplying Cloud Security Solutions

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hunezion, a specialized information security software company, announced on the 19th that it has been selected for the 2020 Cloud Security Service Advancement Support Project promoted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

Last year, Hunezion commercialized the first cloud-based network interconnection solution in the network interconnection industry and registered it on the cloud store 'Ssiat,' which is serviced by the National Information Society Agency to promote private cloud adoption in the public sector. Through this project, the company plans to enhance security functions and provide optimized security services to institutions and companies intending to adopt cloud technology.

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic increasing telecommuting and remote work, interest in security within cloud environments has grown. Hunezion supplies its cloud-based network interconnection solution as well as the system access control and account management solution NGS, which supports cloud environments, through the KT Cloud Marketplace.

The cloud-based network interconnection solution provides security services such as malware scanning, tampering inspection, and policy control for files transmitted safely across multiple cloud networks. The system access control and account management solution NGS centralizes access routes to internal IT systems, offering system account management, access control by permission level, monitoring, and audit functions for operations. NGS has the advantage of providing everything from access control to password management in one solution.
