[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Hoban Construction announced on the 19th that it has opened the cyber model house for 'Hoban Summit Godeok New City Phase 2,' located in Block A43 of Godeok International New City, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi Province, and will begin full-scale sales.
This complex consists of 7 buildings ranging from basement level 1 to ground level 35, with a total of 766 households, all exclusively 84㎡ (net floor area). Among these, 414 units, excluding those allocated to members of the Military Mutual Aid Association, the developer, will be offered for general sale. The units are divided into six types: ▲84㎡A with 57 units ▲84㎡B with 29 units ▲84㎡C with 94 units ▲84㎡D with 32 units ▲84㎡E with 152 units ▲84㎡F with 50 units.
As a project subject to the pre-sale price ceiling system, the contract deposit is fixed at 10 million KRW, and the interest on interim payments can be deferred, significantly reducing the financial burden on consumers. This complex is eligible for nationwide subscription under the 'Special Act on Support for Pyeongtaek City, etc., due to the Relocation of U.S. Military Bases in Korea.'
The greatest advantage of this complex is its excellent residential environment. A Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station, circulating Godeok International New City, is planned nearby, and Jije Station, accessible by car within 15 minutes, offers connections to the SRT and Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1.
Additionally, Edu Town, which includes sites for kindergartens, schools, and international schools, is located nearby. Plans are also underway to establish the Pyeongtaek Peace Arts Center, featuring a performance hall, exhibition and convenience facilities, as well as a central library and museum in the vicinity.
Hoban Construction has designed the complex primarily with south-facing units and applied a 4-bay layout to most households to ensure ventilation and views. Flexible walls allow consumers to customize their space configurations, and various storage options such as dressing rooms and pantries are provided.
Community facilities include a sunken plaza, fitness club, GX room, small library, and indoor golf practice range, offering diverse spaces for hobbies and leisure. Additionally, an exclusive lounge and guest house for residents will be available.
Applications will begin with special supply on the 30th, followed by first-priority subscriptions on the 1st and second-priority on the 2nd of next month. Winners will be announced on the 8th, and contracts will be signed over three days from the 21st to the 23rd. Move-in is scheduled for May 2022.
To prevent and control the spread of COVID-19, Hoban Construction will primarily operate the cyber model house, with the physical model house available by prior reservation only. Reservations can be made via phone inquiry.
A Hoban Construction sales official stated, "We will open mainly the cyber model house and allow only customers with prior reservations to visit," adding, "Reservations are expected to close early." He also said, "We anticipate that the excellent location and Hoban Summit's differentiated products will receive favorable evaluations from customers."
