Hanwha Systems Launches AI Brand HiQube... Targeting 'Digital Transformation and Untact Market'

Hanwha Systems is launching 'HAIQV,' an artificial intelligence (AI) brand for next-generation digital transformation projects and untact (contactless) business.

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hanwha Systems announced on the 15th that it will launch an artificial intelligence (AI) brand called 'HAIQV (Hanwha AI Quality & Value)' for next-generation digital transformation projects and untact (contactless) business.

Hanwha Systems explained that HAIQV embodies the ambition to provide customized services tailored to various customer industries as diverse as the combinations formed by a rotating cubic cube.

HAIQV consists of AI-related platforms and solutions, offering customized AI services for the era of contactless automation. The AI platform, scheduled to launch within this year, will provide the foundation for building AI services, including infrastructure construction, data storage and processing, machine learning, and visualization. Additionally, the company plans to actively promote a lineup including annotation solutions for image data preprocessing, video restoration solutions, chatbot services, and platforms.

Previously, since 2018, Hanwha Systems has accumulated experience in analyzing structured (Excel and DB, etc.) and unstructured (image, text, audio, etc.) data across the financial, manufacturing, and service industries. In October last year, it formed a dedicated AI team of about 50 AI developers to accelerate related technology development.

Kim Yeon-cheol, CEO of Hanwha Systems, said, “Based on AI platforms and solutions, and leveraging blockchain and cloud technologies possessed by Hanwha Systems, we will actively target the untact (contactless) market expanded by the COVID-19 pandemic. We plan to diversify our AI business portfolio into various fields across manufacturing, defense, construction, finance, leisure industries, as well as other sectors.”
