On the 11th, according to Vision University, at the Vision Hall, professors from various departments and fields gathered to engage in a heated discussion on the agenda of 'future educational environment' and 'paradigm shifts across society' to swiftly respond to the expansion of non-face-to-face online lectures.
The event was attended by about 30 people, including President Hong Soon-jik, Cho Yong-ho, head of the Mission Support Office who presented at the forum, department professors, and two external experts.
The participants mainly discussed development directions such as the development of online teaching and learning lecture techniques, attendance and exams for online classes, and measures to ensure fairness.
President Hong Soon-jik stated, "World-renowned universities such as Harvard and Yale in the United States already primarily conduct online lectures, achieving 'globalization of lectures,'” adding, “Even recruitment written tests and interviews are now conducted online.”
He continued, “Going forward, Vision University plans to fully support enhancing 'lecture quality' by utilizing cutting-edge tools such as 3D CG animation and 3D morphing in online lectures.”
