[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Broadcaster Kim Sae-rom revealed that she melted her wedding ring to make a necklace.
On the 7th, the JTBC show 'Star Direct Trade - Traveling Market' aired, featuring MCs Jang Yoon-jung, Seo Jang-hoon, and Yoo Se-yoon visiting Kim Sae-rom's home.
Kim Sae-rom's house caught attention with its neat and sophisticated interior. She shared that she is currently busy with home shopping and cosmetics business.
Regarding becoming a cosmetics CEO, Kim Sae-rom said, "I've liked lipstick since a long time ago. I even had the nickname 'Lip Sae-rom.' I couldn't find a lipstick that perfectly suited my taste on the market, so I decided to make one myself. Factories don't produce just one item. Since I had to meet the minimum order quantity, I ended up making a lot."
Kim Sae-rom also revealed that she was deeply moved by Seo Jang-hoon's comfort after her divorce. She said, "It's kind of like comrades in society," adding, "When Jang Yoon-jung or Yoo Se-yoon sent me messages when I was having a hard time, I just thought 'they're comforting me,' but Seo Jang-hoon's words, though conventional, really touched me."
In response, Seo Jang-hoon said, "I understood how she felt, so I sent a concise message."
Later, Kim Sae-rom introduced her YouTube channel. Seo Jang-hoon asked, "What content gets the best response?"
Kim Sae-rom replied, "I do fashion, beauty, and various things. But there was one video that exploded in views," adding, "It was a video introducing my favorite accessories. Actually, I melted that (wedding ring) myself."
Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon asked, "You melted your wedding ring?" Jang Yoon-jung said, "You really are you. You melted that?" and Yoo Se-yoon reacted with surprise, "You didn’t melt it just for the views, did you?" which brought laughter.
Kim Sae-rom explained about the accessory, "I melted my wedding ring to make it. I inscribed the phrase 'I will never make the same mistake again.' It was one way to overcome the pain," surprising everyone.
