On the 5th, Gyeongnam Province announced that a 27-year-old woman from Gimhae, who returned from studying in Canada on the 3rd, tested positive.
The woman was under self-quarantine after arrival and tested positive through a comprehensive screening of overseas arrivals. She has no underlying health conditions and shows no symptoms.
The provincial and health authorities plan to transfer her to Masan Medical Center and investigate the specific infection route and contacts.
With this case, the total number of confirmed cases in the province has risen to 120.
