[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 5th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service to establish a win-win joint workplace daycare center for workers in industrial complexes and small and medium-sized enterprise cluster areas.
The signing ceremony was held at the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Industrial Complex Corporation in Guro-dong, Seoul. This agreement was prepared to expand workplace childcare benefits and provide high-quality childcare services to workers in industrial complexes and small and medium-sized enterprises, supporting work-family balance.
The Industrial Complex Corporation plans to play a hub role in discovering and supporting the demand for daycare centers for workers within industrial complexes. The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service will be responsible for financial support necessary for the establishment and operation of the win-win joint workplace daycare centers, as well as promotion and consulting.
Kim Jeonghwan, Director of the Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "As an institution leading the realization of social value, we will actively support childcare projects to help industrial complex workers and resident companies achieve work-family balance."
