The Special Judicial Police of Okcheon Fire Station in Chungbuk announced on the 5th that A (67) was booked without detention on charges of harassing and assaulting a female paramedic.
A is accused of assaulting a female paramedic after boarding an ambulance dispatched to a street in Cheongseong-myeon, Okcheon-gun at 2:02 PM the previous day.
At the time, A had sustained a facial injury and was being transported by ambulance to a general hospital in Okcheon.
Inside the ambulance, A called the female paramedic "Agassi" and attempted to touch her face and other areas. When the paramedic tried to stop him, he reportedly kicked her face twice during the altercation.
A fire official stated, "We are investigating the details thoroughly. We will respond strictly according to relevant laws."
