According to the announcement on the day, the open Economic Planning Bureau Director position is grade 4, with a term of 2 years. The term can be extended up to 5 years based on work performance. The Economic Planning Bureau Director oversees local economy and investment attraction tasks of the Corporate Support Division, New Industry Policy Division, and Job Economy Division.

The annual salary, excluding allowances, ranges from 61 million to 92 million KRW and will be determined considering qualifications and experience. Qualification requirements state that public officials must be grade 4 officials with more than 1 year of experience in the relevant field or grade 5 officials with more than 3 years of experience, and private sector candidates must have worked as a department head in the related field for more than 2 years.
