[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 5th that it is recruiting startups to participate in the 2nd batch of the open innovation program 'INNOSTAGE' until the 17th.
INNOSTAGE is Kyobo Life Insurance's open innovation platform aimed at discovering new business opportunities in the insurance sector.
The fields for the 2nd batch recruitment include healthcare to promote health improvement, future tech such as AI and big data applicable to insurance, fintech, and innovation sectors that will change existing lifestyles such as Untact (non-face-to-face) services.
Selected companies will be provided with business development funds and co-working spaces. Additionally, Krypton, an accelerator with an excellent track record in startup nurturing, will offer 1:1 mentoring in areas such as legal affairs, patents, marketing, and investment attraction.
In particular, Kyobo Life Insurance plans to directly invest in outstanding startups and develop collaborative business models. Last year, Kyobo Life Insurance introduced new insurtech services through synergy with companies possessing excellent solutions among the 1st batch INNOSTAGE startups.
Companies wishing to participate in the program can apply through the INNOSTAGE website. Kyobo Life Insurance plans to hold an online briefing session at 3 p.m. on the 9th.
