On the 4th, the Dobong Police Station in Seoul announced that they applied for an arrest warrant for A (62), who is suspected of special injury, the day before and received the warrant from the court.
A is accused of giving her husband B sleeping pills at their home in Dobong-gu on the 1st, then cutting off his genitals and right wrist with a weapon. B was immediately reported to the police by A right after the crime, received emergency treatment, and was transferred to a nearby hospital where he underwent suturing surgery and is currently recovering in the intensive care unit.
During the police investigation, A is known to have actively disclosed her motive and story for several hours without exercising her right to remain silent.
