Hwasun-gun to Recruit for 'Lifelong Learning Club Support Project' until the 12th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 4th that it is recruiting clubs to participate in the 'Lifelong Learning Club Support Project' until the 12th.

The club support project is promoted to discover and support learning clubs to revitalize lifelong learning and foster a culture of sharing.

Eligibility for support includes clubs composed of 10 or more residents (adults) with at least 3 months of activity experience and regular meetings held at least twice a month.

However, clubs affiliated with schools, religious activities, or those formed for social purposes are excluded from support.

Support is also not available if subsidies have been received from other administrative agencies for the same or similar project content.

The support fields are divided into four types: learning type, social participation type, problem-solving type, and job preparation type.

Selected learning teams can receive support for learning activity operating expenses (instructor fees, material costs, textbook costs, promotion costs), practical activity expenses related to learning content (presentations, exhibitions, etc.), and activity expenses for community contribution.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the General Affairs Division of the county office.

An official from the county said, "Lifelong learning clubs play a significant role as learning communities in sharing and spreading knowledge," adding, "As the need and demand for lifelong learning continue to increase, activating club activities is important, so we will provide maximum support."
