First, regarding the watermelon, it is gaining attention for resolving the inconvenience of offline watermelon purchases, where customers must carry heavy fruits themselves amid situations that discourage going out. Existing online purchases often result in damage during delivery, making watermelons one of the products that home shopping tends to avoid selling. SiktagiinneunSalm’s ‘Haman Watermelon’ uses a specially designed box tailored to the shape of the watermelon, allowing customers to receive it without damage. For this reason, it will be the first time in NS Home Shopping’s history that Haman Watermelon is introduced live on air. The design box is eco-friendly as it does not use air caps or adhesives. The taste of the Haman Watermelon product is also guaranteed, as only watermelons with a sugar content of 11 Brix or higher are carefully selected and sold using a non-destructive measurement system.
Chodang Corn is also a recently spotlighted product that is not frequently sold on home shopping channels.
