Introduction of Online Written Exams
to Prevent COVID-19 Infection
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NCUFK) will conduct an open recruitment for Saemaeul Geumgo employees in the first half of this year.
The federation announced on the 3rd that 347 new employees will be hired across 228 Saemaeul Geumgo branches nationwide in the first half of the year.
Applications will be accepted for three days from the 8th until 5 p.m. on the 10th. The recruitment process will proceed in the order of document screening, AI-based online written test, interview, and final selection.
This recruitment introduces an artificial intelligence (AI)-based online written test to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to enhance objectivity and fairness. Candidates must log in online at their designated time to take the test and must prepare a PC connected via wired internet, webcam, microphone, and headset in advance.
Each Saemaeul Geumgo operates as an independent corporation with varying salary and welfare levels, so referring to the management disclosures registered on the Saemaeul Geumgo website for each branch can help applicants choose the right Saemaeul Geumgo.
Park Cha-hoon, president of the federation, stated, “Despite many companies postponing or canceling recruitment amid the crisis caused by the recent spread of COVID-19 and the resulting economic downturn in local communities, we have decided to conduct open recruitment in the first half of the year to hire outstanding talent who will lead the future of Saemaeul Geumgo and provide quality jobs to local communities.”
