Gangbuk-gu Operates Selective Civil Complaint Information Center... One Information Tent Installed at District Office Main Entrance

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Park Kyum-soo) is operating a selective civil service guidance center for visitors who are unable to enter the government office building due to not wearing masks.

The staff at the selective guidance center inform visitors at a designated area near the main entrance of the building about the necessity of wearing masks when entering the building.

At this location, upon request from visitors, the staff member in charge of the relevant service also visits the guidance center to provide civil service consultations.

Earlier in early February, the district strengthened access control to the building to prevent the community spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The annex entrance was closed, and a thermal imaging camera was installed at the main entrance to conduct fever checks.

Additionally, wearing masks and using hand sanitizer when entering the building have been effectively mandated.

Gangbuk District Mayor Park Kyum-soo stated, “Wearing a mask is the easiest and most effective preventive measure against COVID-19,” and added, “Please remember that this is not only for yourself but for all of us, and always wear a mask when visiting multi-use facilities.”
