Sikgwon Daejang Enhances Convenience with Easy Point Payment Recharge

Sikgwon Daejang Enhances Convenience with Easy Point Payment Recharge

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bendis (CEO Jo Jeong-ho), which operates the mobile meal voucher solution 'Sikgwon Daejang,' announced on the 2nd that it has enhanced user convenience through an update to the 'Daejang Point' feature, a simple point payment recharge function.

Launched in 2014, Sikgwon Daejang introduced the concept of mobile meal vouchers, transforming traditional corporate meal payment methods such as paper meal vouchers, meal ledgers, and corporate cards into a mobile app-based service. Employees of companies that have adopted Sikgwon Daejang can dine at affiliated stores near their office and pay for their meals using points provided by their company through the Sikgwon Daejang app.

Daejang Point is a feature that allows individual Sikgwon Daejang users to recharge points. Users can register their own cards in the Sikgwon Daejang app and recharge points conveniently whenever needed using simple payment methods. One-time card payments and virtual account transfers are also supported. This enables users to combine points provided by their company with points they have personally recharged to make payments. For example, if a user receives 7,000 KRW in meal allowance from their company but orders an 8,000 KRW menu, they can pay the difference through the Sikgwon Daejang app in a single transaction without needing to make an additional payment through personal payment methods. Even when there are leftover meal allowances with no suitable place to use them, users can combine them with personal points to increase the utility of company meal allowances.

Jo Jeong-ho, CEO of Bendis, said, "As many companies switch their meal allowance payment methods to Sikgwon Daejang and more office workers pay with mobile meal vouchers near their workplaces, the need for a point recharge function that allows easy payment of meal allowance differences, leftover meal allowances, and dessert menu items like coffee has grown. We will continue to develop services to make it more convenient for office workers to pay using Sikgwon Daejang."
