According to the police on the 1st, a complaint was filed stating that Mr. A, a senior public official of Hamyang County, attempted to sexually assault Ms. B, a female subordinate, while having a company dinner with 3 to 4 employees at a karaoke room in the county on the 26th of last month, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
The police are currently conducting an investigation targeting the involved parties, and following the allegations, Hamyang County has suspended Mr. A from his position.
A police official stated, "As this is an ongoing investigation, we cannot disclose detailed information. It is not yet confirmed whether Mr. A actually attempted the crime, and further investigation is needed to determine the facts."
