'K-Handmade & Illustration Fair Busan 2020' will be held for three days from July 10th to 12th (Friday to Sunday) at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan.
'K-Handmade & Illustration Fair Busan 2020' will be held for three days from July 10 to 12 (Friday to Sunday) at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, Hall 2. As the largest and only handmade & illustration specialized exhibition in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam region, this event will be held under the theme "A Big Universe Made by Small Hands."
The exhibition items include ▷Crafts ▷Illustrations ▷Stationery ▷Design and Art ▷Interior and Design Accessories ▷Fashion and Accessories ▷Materials and Tools ▷Goods ▷Beauty ▷Performance ▷Handmade Food, and more. Visitors can observe the production process of the exhibits firsthand and have opportunities to meet and communicate with famous artists as well as experts.
The exhibition website is hosting a 10th anniversary gift event, offering mobile gift certificates through a lottery to visitors who pre-register.

Audio artist Park Yong-su, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Chungcheong University, delights visitors' eyes and ears with unique speakers made from various materials.

Professor Park Yong-su, an audio artist who conveys happiness through all the sounds of the world, is expected to offer visitors a visually and audibly striking experience.
At the 'Design Lounge Members Special Exhibition,' visitors can meet artists who have been active on Korea's first online handmade platform, 'K-Handmade Design Lounge,' directly at the exhibition. Artists personally decorate the exhibition space with their unique styles, offering differentiated attractions not seen in other exhibitions.
A 'One-Day Class Zone' is also set up where visitors can take classes directly from artists and create their own works. Visitors can enjoy a unique experience by hearing about the artists' personal experiences and becoming handmade creators or illustrators themselves. This program allows visitors, accustomed to smart devices, to gain ideas and inspiration through drawing and creating by hand.
The 'Quilt Special Exhibition' introduces the value of Korea's quilt industry, which combines practicality and beauty in everyday life. It is the largest quilt specialized exchange platform in Korea where domestic and international quilt artists can share diverse information. Visitors can see quilt-related items all in one place, from quilt crafts, works, and accessories to quilt fabrics, materials, and packages.
To revitalize the goods industry, a 'Goods (Goods/MD) Special Exhibition' will also be presented. Visitors can find handmade and illustration products created using goods content such as fan art, celebrities, brands, and characters. Additionally, the exhibition of various stationery, cosmetics, clothing, and interior accessories aims to further spread the goods fan culture.
This event will also feature a 'Diary Decoration Special Exhibition,' where visitors can find various design items such as stickers, diary supplies, illustration supplies, and living goods directly drawn and produced by illustrators. A 'Naekkudakku Playground' on-site event is prepared for 'Dakkureo' (people who enjoy diary decorating).
The YouTube channel 'K-Handmade & Illustration Fair' provides exhibition information such as event announcements and special exhibitions that visitors are curious about. Meanwhile, following the 'K-Handmade & Illustration Fair Busan' in July, the 'K-Handmade Fair 2020' will be held at COEX in Seoul in November, with the first round of visitor pre-registration closing on October 5 (Monday).
