[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Actress Park Sun-young revealed that she experienced something similar to the drama 'The World of the Married.'

On the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' (Miwoo-sae) aired on the 31st of last month, Park Sun-young appeared as a special MC.

That day, Park Sun-young shared an anecdote about how she found out about her friend's husband's affair and, after much 고민, confronted him. She said, "I naturally thought they would break up, but they didn't," adding, "I still live with a heavy heart. Rather, my friendship with that friend ended."

In response, the Miwoo-sae mothers said, "Marriage is between two people," and "Even if you find out about your partner's affair, you wouldn't say anything."

Park Sun-young confessed that she was stressed while filming 'The World of the Married.' She said, "In the drama, my husband character was always cheating, and I had to act like I was enduring it. It made me angry repeatedly," adding, "When I saw actor Kim Young-min, who played the husband, on set, I wanted to hit him. Later, the stress caused me to suffer from hair loss."

When asked if she expected 'The World of the Married' to be a huge hit, she said, "Every actor starts hoping the drama will do well," and "But after filming began, I felt it was on another level."

Park Sun-young also shared an anecdote about what she experienced due to her outstanding beauty. She said, "My older brother was very strict when I was young," and started, "He scolded me for coming home late."

She continued, "He was so strict that I wasn't even allowed to wear shorts," and "When my brother's friends came over, I was always in my room, so I never saw their faces."

Park Sun-young said she once deliberately cut her hair short because of her looks. She said, "I had a handsome face since I was young," and "My closest friend once wrote on paper that 'You became class president because you're pretty,' which was a big wound at a young age. I thought being noticed meant being hated, so I cut my hair short."
