[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it will launch a new Regulatory Sandbox website starting from the 1st to expand the achievements of the Regulatory Sandbox and strengthen communication with the public.
The website provides detailed explanations that make the system easy to understand, along with information on the designation status of each sandbox, post-management and evaluation, and precautions when filling out applications, covering the entire system. Press releases, promotional videos, and legal information (official gazette, notifications) are also provided.
Anyone in the public (including companies, universities, and research institutes) who has ideas for new services using new technologies such as AI and big data but has been unable to find answers on how to utilize them due to regulations can receive guidance and assistance on how to propose projects through the newly launched website.
This reflects the will of Minister Park Young-sun, who has consistently emphasized, "We will create a 'digital powerhouse' led mainly by innovative ventures and startups to lead the world," according to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
To celebrate the website opening, the Ministry will hold an event called “Find the Flaws in the Website!” for visitors. From today until the 10th, those who find typos or errors on the website and send an email will be entered into a draw to receive mobile Onnuri gift certificates.
