On the 31st, Incheon City announced that A (57, female, Incheon case number 209), a resident of Bupyeong-gu, was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
A experienced symptoms of fever and muscle pain on the 28th and underwent a specimen test at the Bupyeong-gu Public Health Center on the 30th.
She was then confirmed positive on the same day and was urgently transferred to Incheon Medical Center.
Accordingly, the city conducted specimen tests on A's family members and ordered them to self-quarantine.
Currently, an epidemiological investigation is underway to determine the exact route of infection for A.
Meanwhile, with A's confirmation, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Incheon is now 209.
