[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases related to the Coupang logistics center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, has increased to 108.


According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters as of 11 a.m. on the 30th, the number of confirmed cases related to the Coupang logistics center was counted at 108. This is an increase of 6 from 102 cases as of 12 p.m. the previous day.


Among them, 73 are logistics center workers, and 35 are contacts such as family and acquaintances. By region, cases occurred in the metropolitan area with 47 in Gyeonggi, 42 in Incheon, and 19 in Seoul.


In addition, a total of 5 confirmed cases were reported at the Happy Nursing Home in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, including 2 caregivers and 3 residents, and while investigating confirmed cases related to Yonsei Naro Academy in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, a family infection was identified in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.


Meanwhile, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the Itaewon clubs was counted at 269 as of 12 p.m. on the same day, an increase of 3 from the previous day. As of midnight on the same day, there were 39 new domestic COVID-19 cases.
