The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 101,702,578 pieces of singer brand big data from April 28 to May 29, 2020, conducting an analysis of consumer brand participation, media, communication, and community.
Additionally, the rankings from 4th to 30th place in the May 2020 singer brand reputation were Oh My Girl, IU, (G)I-DLE, Baekhyun, Kang Daniel, NCT, IZ*ONE, Red Velvet, Song Ga-in, Taeyeon, Zico, Apink, Paul Kim, WINNER, Chungha, MAMAMOO, Suho, Gummy, Joy, Bolbbalgan4, Kim Jae-hwan, ITZY, Davichi, Chanyeol, Punch, Noeul, and Kim Feel.
The brand BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook), which ranked first, recorded △Participation Index 4,029,916 △Media Index 2,294,941 △Communication Index 5,299,657 △Community Index 3,991,221, resulting in a brand reputation index of 15,615,734.
The brand Lim Young-woong, ranked second, recorded △Participation Index 7,028,567 △Media Index 2,045,491 △Communication Index 2,714,194 △Community Index 1,701,190, resulting in a brand reputation index of 13,489,442.
The brand Youngtak, which took third place, recorded △Participation Index 2,621,769 △Media Index 2,083,852 △Communication Index 1,237,989 △Community Index 1,232,422, resulting in a brand reputation index of 7,176,033.
Gu Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, analyzed, "The BTS brand was loved by consumers with many songs such as 'ON,' 'Black Swan,' 'Friends,' 'Filter,' 'Moo,' and 'Time Difference.' The Lim Young-woong brand attracted consumer interest with 'Now Trust Only Me,' 'Story of a 60s Elderly Couple,' and 'Wish,' while the Youngtak brand drew attention with 'Jjin-ya' and 'Makgeolli Han Jan.'"
