CJ Olive Young, Biggest Sale in First Half of Year... Up to 70% Discount

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] CJ Olive Young is holding its first large-scale regular sale of the year.

CJ Olive Young announced on the 29th that it will conduct a large-scale sale, "Ollyoung Sale," offering discounts of up to 70% for seven days starting from the 29th. "Ollyoung Sale" is an industry-leading shopping festival introduced by CJ Olive Young since last year as part of its effort to brand regular sales. It has established itself as an event enjoyed by both partners and customers by offering reasonable prices and a variety of unique special marketing promotions.

This sale is held under the concept of "Summer-Ddaeng! The first Ollyoung Sale of the year." To revitalize the frozen consumer sentiment and help customers prepare for the upcoming summer, it offers up to 70% discounts on representative category products such as nail care, sun care, and cleansing, as well as a comprehensive selection of popular products from the first half of this year.

Especially since this is the first regular sale of the year, the discount benefits have been significantly enhanced. Compared to last year, the number of sale items has increased by about 50%, and new, unprecedented events have been prepared, such as discounts on all brands of eye makeup, and up to 52% off on all nail and women's hair removal products.

One hundred twenty-three domestic small and medium-sized enterprise brands, including Dr.G, Manyo Factory, and Dashing Diva, are participating, increasing the win-win synergy with small and medium-sized partners who are struggling due to COVID-19 and economic recession. A CJ Olive Young official said, "Since this is the first regular sale of the year, we have significantly strengthened the discount rates and sale items for this 'Ollyoung Sale.'"

Meanwhile, CJ Olive Young has distributed a "Safe Shopping Guide" to all stores nationwide to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including mask-wearing and maintaining safe distances. Notices restricting entry for those not wearing masks will be posted, and periodic announcements will be made. Additionally, efforts are being made to create a safe shopping environment by increasing hand sanitizers in stores, enhancing ventilation, and providing test papers for color cosmetics.
