Neighborhood Supermarket's 'Fair Price Sale' Resolution Rally... Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Chairpersons of supermarket cooperatives nationwide are attending the 'Fair Price Sales Resolution Meeting' held on the 27th at Yuseong Hotel in Daejeon and are taking a commemorative photo.


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Supermarket Cooperative Federation announced on the 28th that it held the 'Good Price Sales Nationwide Chairpersons Resolution Meeting.'


The resolution meeting was held the previous day at the Yuseong Hotel in Daejeon, attended by chairpersons of supermarket cooperatives nationwide. They resolved to sell products of the same quality at the usual prices in supermarkets nationwide in relation to the use of emergency disaster relief funds.


The federation adopted a resolution including ▲ Neighborhood supermarkets will not raise prices ▲ Neighborhood supermarkets will not hoard goods ▲ Neighborhood supermarkets will take the lead in public health through thorough quarantine ▲ Neighborhood supermarkets will strive for consumer benefits.


Im Won-bae, chairman of the Korea Supermarket Cooperative Federation, said, "Our member neighborhood supermarket owners promise to make every effort to ensure that the emergency disaster relief funds are used as effectively as possible for overcoming the national crisis and stabilizing the people's economy."
