[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Gimcheon City announced on the 28th that out of 39,153 households that applied for the Gyeongsangbuk-do Disaster Emergency Living Expenses, 18,201 households were selected as support targets after income and property investigations.
The Gyeongbuk-do Disaster Emergency Living Expenses provide local love gift certificates worth 500,000 to 800,000 KRW per household to households with less than 85% of the median income who are not protected by existing welfare systems. Households that have not yet applied can do so by the 29th.
Kim Choong-seop, Mayor of Gimcheon City, said, "We will try to provide the disaster emergency living expenses as quickly as possible to revitalize the local economy and stabilize people's livelihoods."
