It is evaluated that advanced technology is being integrated with housing to recreate homes as more convenient spaces.
HDC Hyundai Development Company's smart home system, HDC IoT, controls home network systems such as lighting, heating, gas, and fire detection through a single smartphone application.
It can integrate control of devices with smartphone connectivity, including washing machines, refrigerators, robot vacuum cleaners, and air purifiers. Residents can conveniently use features such as checking parking locations and adjusting lighting and heating remotely via their smartphones.
This smart home system is realized in 'Cheongju Gagyeong IPARK Phase 4,' built by HDC Hyundai Development Company in the area of 320 Gagyeong-dong, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, Chungbuk.

Residents use home network services through the existing wall pad as well as functions such as lighting, gas, heating, ventilation control, automatic access to the main entrance, automatic elevator call, and parking location notifications via smartphones.
They can receive notifications such as apartment announcements and air quality monitoring information. Necessary information like weather updates can be easily checked at the unit entrance before going out. Smart switches capable of batch light-off, gas valve locking, elevator calling, and parking location confirmation will also be installed.
