[2020 Apartment Brand Awards] Forena, Connecting People and Spaces

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Hanwha Construction's 'Forena,' selected as the brand of the year in the design category, is a new premium brand introduced last August for apartments, residential-commercial complexes, and officetels. Hanwha Construction has successfully achieved full sales for all its developments under the Forena brand, including Forena Cheonan Dujeong (1,067 units), Forena Jeonju Eco City (817 units), Doma e-Pyeonhansesang Forena (1,881 units), Forena Luwon City (1,128 units), and Forena Geoje Jangpyeong (817 units). The premium image emphasized by Forena appears to be receiving positive evaluations from customers.


Forena, meaning 'connection' in Swedish, embodies Hanwha Construction's commitment to creating a new residential culture through the 'connection between people and space.' The brand slogan, 'The Beginning of a Special Everyday,' reflects the anticipation of a new lifestyle experienced through Forena.


The brand identity (BI) color is 'Forena Blue.' This color combines blue, symbolizing trust and confidence, with black, representing authority and charisma, conveying a calm yet sophisticated beauty. Hanwha Construction plans to strengthen the premium image by applying the 'Forena pattern,' which symbolizes the brand, to apartment exteriors and community facilities.


Forena's shared kitchen, 'Forena Kitchen,' the 'Forena Laundry Cafe' equipped with large washers and dryers, the 'Forena Kids Gym' available anytime without concerns about fine dust, and the 'Forena Pet Play Zone' where pets can be walked, are expected to bring new changes to residential life.

In particular, 'Forena Yeosu Ungcheon The Terrace,' currently being sold in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, is considered a representative complex that embodies Forena's distinctiveness. This complex is Hanwha Construction's first terrace house development, consisting of two complexes with 452 units, ranging from one basement floor to four above-ground floors. All units are primarily south-facing, promising excellent natural lighting and ventilation. Another advantage is that every floor includes a terrace. On the first floor, residents can enjoy a wide terrace along with a front yard garden. The second-floor terraces are designed not to overlap with the upper floors, and the third floor offers a courtyard-style pocket terrace. The top fourth floor features an attic and a rooftop terrace, which is also a distinctive feature.
