Hyundai Rotem Introduces New Online Job Training Courses to Strengthen Talent Development


[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Hyundai Rotem announced on the 28th that it has newly introduced an online job training course to enhance the capabilities of all employees across the company.


The newly introduced online job training course consists of a total of 571 courses, offering a wide range of learning content in areas such as management, industry, leadership, global, 4th industrial revolution, and liberal arts. Through this training course provided on Hyundai Rotem's own online education webpage, employees can access various job training courses and improve their individual job competencies.


Hyundai Rotem stated that while considering ways to strengthen employee capabilities to enhance corporate competitiveness, it newly introduced online job training that enables non-face-to-face learning due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The company expects that online education will prevent gaps in employee capability enhancement training caused by COVID-19.


Hyundai Rotem's online job training allows learners, the employees, to select the training they want directly. Learners can choose the educational content they believe they need to strengthen their capabilities on their own.


This online job training course runs for one month per course and is scheduled to be conducted over six months from this month until October this year. Hyundai Rotem plans to continuously expand online job training even after the current training schedule ends. Efforts to increase employee participation rates through monitoring of training participation status will also be carried out simultaneously.


A Hyundai Rotem official said, “We will provide high-quality educational content to employees and focus on talent development so that individual capability enhancement through education can lead to organizational capability enhancement and performance, thereby strengthening business competitiveness.”
