[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] The tteok-twi-soon restaurant, which received harsh criticism from Baek Jong-won, has returned with thorough hygiene management and a new recipe.

On the 27th, SBS entertainment program 'Baek Jong-won's Alley Restaurant' (Alley Restaurant) featured Baek Jong-won proposing a solution to the tteok-twi-soon restaurant in Jeongja-dong alley, Suwon.

MC Kim Seong-joo mentioned, "The owner's hairstyle has changed," referring to the neat hair. In response, Baek Jong-won praised, "The hygiene was concerning before, but it has become much cleaner."

Baek Jong-won then proceeded to a full taste evaluation. Previously, the fried gim-mari at the tteok-twi-soon restaurant was harshly criticized as the worst.

Looking at the fried food, Baek Jong-won said, "The batter has become thinner compared to before. Has it become crispier?" Regarding the gim-mari, he advised, "Unlike regular fried food, gim-mari should have a thicker batter."

The tteok-twi-soon restaurant owner made shrimp and squid tempura. Seeing this, Baek Jong-won asked, "Do you know why you stir while frying?" The owner replied, "To make the batter bloom."

Baek Jong-won said, "The seasoning of the fried food could be improved a bit more," expressing potential.

The tteokbokki, which he had previously rated as "unpleasant," was also improved. After tasting the tteokbokki, Baek Jong-won evaluated, "It's sweet, but much better than last time."
