[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Healthcare specialist company Tenminds and online advertising agency Yeolsimhi Communications pledged on the 26th to donate 120 portable massagers ‘Breo’ (worth 25 million KRW) to the Yongsan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Sangyong Lee).
This is to help manage the health of elderly and disabled facility users in the region. They will continue donating 10 units every month for one year.
Jang Seung-woong, CEO of Tenminds and Yeolsimhi Communications, said, "We promised to support supplies so that residents can live healthily," adding, "As companies located in Yongsan-gu, we will steadily carry out activities that can contribute to the community."
Tenminds and Yeolsimhi Communications also sent about 50,000 hand sanitizers and approximately 5,000 health masks to Yongsan District Office, Itaewon 119 Safety Center, Korean Red Cross, and Daegu Metropolitan City to help overcome COVID-19.
Last month, they attracted attention by holding a rice sharing event for 300 single elderly households in Yongsan-gu.
Sangyong Lee, Chairman of the Yongsan Welfare Foundation, said, "We thank Tenminds and Yeolsimhi Communications for practicing sharing for our neighbors," adding, "The donated items will be delivered to elderly and disabled facilities in the region."
