On the morning of the 27th, Park Jun-hee, the mayor of Gwanak-gu, visited Sinseong Elementary School to check the temperatures of children arriving at school.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Park Jun-hee, the mayor of Gwanak-gu, visited Sinseong Elementary School in Gwanak-gu around 8:30 a.m. on the 27th to personally ensure the safety of the students.

The mayor helped students attend school safely by checking for fever using thermal cameras and thermometers and assisting with hand sanitization for students arriving at school.

He then inspected the site with school officials to review the school's response measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and asked all staff, including teachers, to strictly follow personal hygiene guidelines for the safety of the students.

Mayor Park Jun-hee stated, “We will actively support the schools' needs, such as providing disinfection and quarantine supplies, to create an environment where students can attend school and take classes safely.”
