In the TV Chosun variety show 'The Taste of Wife' aired on the 26th, the couple Ham So-won and Jin Hua were shown going on an outing with their daughter Hye-jeong and Jin Hua's Chinese mother-in-law (Mama).
In the broadcast, Ham So-won prepared a salad lunchbox, which upset Mama. Mama, who quarreled with Jin Hua over the lunchbox issue, eventually said she would not eat lunch and got up from her seat.
Then, the Ham family experienced leisure activities. After enjoying off-road driving and returning to the car, Ham So-won realized the car keys were missing. She inquired about key duplication but, upon hearing the price was 300,000 won, she decided to search for the keys herself.
Ham So-won searched the mountain for over 30 minutes but ultimately could not find the keys. Suddenly, rain started falling, ruining the atmosphere of the family trip.
Afterwards, the Ham family began preparing dinner. Mama deboned an ostrich leg and cooked it. While preparing the meal together, Ham So-won dropped and broke an ostrich egg she had bought for 50,000 won. Mama repeatedly sighed and expressed her dissatisfaction.
During the meal, Mama and Jin Hua clashed again. Jin Hua, worried about Mama's health while she was eating ostrich steak, said, "You have no appetite," and Mama retorted, "Are you annoyed that I have no appetite?"
Jin Hua tried to persuade her, saying, "Let's reduce the meat a little," but Mama got angry.
Amid the tense atmosphere, a twist occurred. It turned out the harsh mood was a hidden camera prank by Mama and Jin Hua for Ham So-won's birthday. Jin Hua said, "A simple family party is boring," and added, "The car key really is lost."
Jin Hua and Mama appeared with bright smiles holding bouquets and gifts. Ham So-won, who had worn a troubled expression all day, smiled.
In front of the cake, Ham So-won made wishes for her second child’s pregnancy and a hit song.
