Muan Fire Station Holds Traditional Market Fire Prevention Education and Quiz Competition

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Won-guk) announced that on the 25th at 3 PM, it held a 'Fire Safety Knowledge Quiz Contest' event for market merchants in the Muan Traditional Market Merchants' Meeting Room.

This event was promoted to raise awareness of fire hazards and to help participants acquire knowledge about fire safety facilities within traditional markets, thereby enhancing their ability to prevent safety accidents on their own.

About 30 merchants participated in this event, which was conducted by providing fire prevention education and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, followed by related true or false quizzes and subjective quizzes, with prizes awarded to winners.

A merchant who participated in the quiz contest said, "After the education, taking the quiz helped me remember better," and added, "I will teach the CPR I learned today to my family when I get home."

A representative of Muan Fire Station stated, "This quiz event provided an opportunity to learn and enjoy fire safety rules together with local merchants," and added, "We will continue to promote fire prevention through various means to raise awareness about fire safety."
