Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Plaque Presentation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Hansangwon·Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 25th that it delivered the ‘the BEST Good Store’ plaque to Seonjinpork (Hwajeong 4-dong, Seo-gu·CEO Jo Seonggyu).
A Good Store refers to any store engaged in small to medium-sized self-employment that practices sharing by donating a certain amount of sales (at least 30,000 won).
In the Gwangju area, there are about 3,490 Good Stores since the first store joined in August 2008.
Seonjinpork has been practicing sharing as a Good Store since October 2015, making regular donations for over three years and accumulating donations of more than 1.5 million won.
Jo Seonggyu, CEO of Seonjinpork, said, “There were times when the economy was bad and it was difficult, but I am participating in the Good Store campaign with the hope of helping those who are in more difficult situations,” and added, “I plan to actively participate in sharing activities for the local community in the future.”
Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, said, “We sincerely thank CEO Jo Seonggyu for practicing warm sharing,” and added, “Because the CEO delivers warm love and hope, it becomes a driving force for our society to grow further.”
Meanwhile, the Good Store campaign allows participation from any type of store, including self-employed business owners, small and medium-sized enterprises, franchises, academies, and hospitals, and offers year-end income deduction benefits.
