Jeonnam Fire Department and Police Collaborate to Strengthen Joint Response System

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The fire department and police, responsible for the safety of Jeonnam residents, have come together to strengthen a rapid joint response system.

The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced on the 25th that they will maintain continuous communication with the police and solidify joint responses on matters requiring cooperation from the respective agencies for the safety of residents.

The meeting held in the conference room of the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency was attended by 12 people, including the heads of the 112 and 119 integrated control rooms.

The two agencies agreed to continuously expand efforts such as ▲ sharing excellent and insufficient cases of joint response between fire and police ▲ work consultations between related agencies regarding the integration of emergency call lines ▲ seeking rapid, accurate, and organic joint response methods ▲ providing active services to citizens ▲ and discussing difficulties.

Ma Jaeyoon, Chief of Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, said, “The fire department and police, which respond most closely to the safety of residents, will strengthen their organic cooperative relationship,” adding, “We will secure the golden time and improve initial response capabilities in disaster situations.”
