[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency is attracting attention with education and employment linkage programs that consider the needs of the younger generation to address the serious youth unemployment problem.

According to the Culture Industry Promotion Agency on the 25th, it is focusing on nurturing professionals required by society through various education programs, such as discovering education programs incorporating IT technology and employment linkage programs needed by the younger generation.

The ‘Digital Video Technology Professional Training’ course, which started for the first time on this day, is a program designed to help young people interested in video content realize their potential, and it received positive responses from students from the first day.

In particular, Kim (male, 26), a student who showed great interest in the education program covering digital video technology from shooting to editing and design, said, “I was glad to learn about the Information Industry Promotion Agency’s education program while looking for a place to acquire professional knowledge because I felt I was ‘theoretically lacking’.” He added, “My dream is to get a job at a broadcasting company I want after completing the training.”

Also, Song (female, 26), a student who hopes to become an editing reporter by acquiring video editing skills, said, “I found out about the Promotion Agency’s program by searching for Jeonju video editing on the internet,” and expressed her expectations, saying, “Being able to learn video editing skills with government funding seems to have accelerated my employment.”

On the first day of the course, 25 people applied for 15 spots in the video technology training, showing what areas the younger generation is interested in.

The person in charge of the video technology training said, “The Promotion Agency values human networks and plans to focus on utilizing networks that can link education to employment after the training,” adding, “We intend to play a central role in the education and employment linkage of the younger generation with the mindset of working on the front lines to solve the youth unemployment problem.”
