[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Korea Technology Group announced that its major affiliates, including Hankook Tire, relocated their headquarters to an office building within Pangyo Techno Valley on the 25th. With this headquarters relocation, Korea Technology Group is laying the foundation to pioneer new business areas and strengthen future competitiveness through technology-based innovation in response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era. The group also plans to reinforce a horizontal communication culture and realize a proactive culture of challenge and innovation to further solidify its image as a technology-centered group.


Pangyo Techno Valley, known as Korea's Silicon Valley, houses leading domestic companies spearheading the Fourth Industrial Revolution era. It is said to provide the optimal environment to realize the technology-centered innovation that Korea Technology Group aims for.


In particular, the building where Korea Technology Group affiliates have moved in through long-term lease contracts features an internal space organized around a large central hall, connected three-dimensionally and organically. Individual workspaces are flexibly separated and arranged horizontally to naturally foster creative ideas and a collaboration-focused work environment.


Additionally, rest and convenience facilities such as rooftop gardens and cafeterias are provided for employees, along with medical facilities and a gym to contribute to employees' health improvement and wellness management.
