Jeonbuk Provincial Mental Health Welfare Center 'Learning the Role of Life Keeper' The Jeonbuk Provincial Mental Health Welfare Center recently conducted training to cultivate professional life keeper instructors for related agency practitioners and basic mental health welfare center practitioners who completed the basic life keeper course.


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gominhyeong] The Jeonbuk Provincial Mental Health Welfare Center (Director Lee Sang-yeol) announced on the 25th that it recently conducted training to cultivate professional Life Keeper instructors for related agency practitioners and basic mental health welfare center practitioners who completed the basic Life Keeper course.


This professional Life Keeper instructor training was conducted as a Ministry of Health and Welfare certified program developed by the Jeonbuk Provincial Mental Health Welfare Center.


Since 2013, a total of 141 professional Life Keeper instructors have been trained through this education, and the trainees trained on this day are qualified to conduct Life Keeper training and basic courses.


Lee Sang-yeol, director of the Jeonbuk Provincial Mental Health Welfare Center, stated, “The most important point in suicide prevention is the early detection of high-risk groups,” and added, “We will do our best to cultivate Life Keepers so that the residents of Jeonbuk can protect each other's lives.”
