[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 22nd that it plans to launch sales in June for the officetel project 'Hillstate Cheongnyangni Station,' part of the Cheongnyangni Miju Shopping Center Building B development.
Located at 235-6 Cheongnyangni-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, this complex will consist of 7 basement floors and 20 above-ground floors. It will include a total of 954 officetel units ranging from 20 to 44㎡ (exclusive area), commercial facilities, and public service facilities (dong community center). The officetels are composed of highly preferred studio-type units and recently popular separated-type units. The studio-type units consist of 820 units sized 20-21㎡, while the separated-type units total 134 units sized 34-44㎡.
Within the complex, a multi-purpose building is planned to house the Cheongnyangni-dong Community Center, the autonomous hall, the Dongdaemun headquarters, and cultural and welfare-related facilities, integrating existing community center functions.
The complex is within walking distance of Cheongnyangni Station, served by Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Bundang Line, the Gangneung Line KTX, and the Gyeongchun Line ITX. Additional construction and development are planned for the Metropolitan Area Express Railway (GTX) B and C lines, SRT northern extension, Gangbuk Transversal Line, and Myeonmok Line at Cheongnyangni Station, which will further improve accessibility.
Shopping and cultural facilities such as Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, and Lotte Cinema are within walking distance, and various commercial facilities around Cheongnyangni Station are easily accessible. Daily life infrastructure such as Cheongnyangni General Market, Gyeongdong Market, Dongdaemun Tax Office, Dongdaemun Police Station, and Seoul Seongsim Hospital are also conveniently reachable.
The ceiling height for all units has been raised to 2.5m (2.6m for tray ceilings), and various storage cabinets, built-in combination refrigerators, and built-in drum washing machines (with drying function) will be installed. A functional oven is provided as standard, and picture rails that allow hanging pictures or frames without nails on the living room walls will be installed.
The separated-type bedrooms will feature large dressing rooms (including system powder rooms). Units sized 41 and 44㎡ have auxiliary kitchens connected to the entrance, designed for multi-purpose storage and laundry, with options to install built-in kimchi refrigerators (paid option).
Hillstate's Internet of Things (IoT) service, Hi-oT technology, will also be applied. Through a smartphone app, residents can control built-in devices such as lighting and ventilation, as well as IoT home appliances, both inside and outside the complex.
The model house is scheduled to open next month at 235-2 Cheongnyangni-dong, Dongdaemun-gu.
