On the first days of reception, the 18th and 19th, the quantity of Sangsaeng Cards was insufficient compared to the number of applicants, requiring separate guidance on the receipt schedule. However, with the distribution of Sangsaeng Cards worth approximately 70 billion won to each autonomous district on the 19th, from the 20th, applicants can receive the funds immediately on-site upon application.

Ryu Mi-su, Director of the Social Welfare Division of the city, stated, “We will do our best to stably secure the card supply in cooperation with Gwangju Bank, while monitoring the situation at the Dong Administrative Welfare Centers to minimize inconvenience to citizens.”
