Kospo Launches Startup Knowledge and Experience Sharing Project

Untact Knowledge and Experience Sharing Project 'Growth Talk Live' to Maximize Startup Growth

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Startup Forum (hereinafter referred to as Kospo) announced on the 19th that it will launch the 'Growth Talk Live' project, which shares knowledge and experiences of startups, and will start the first series from the 2nd of next month.

This project was planned to support mutual growth among ecosystem members by sharing the accumulated experiences and knowledge during the startup growth process, as well as the know-how of founders. It is a place where representatives of the startup industry, founders who have entered the growth trajectory, venture capitalists (VCs), and startup members share knowledge and experiences. Due to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the lectures and networking will be conducted in a non-face-to-face (untact) format, and will be held in four sessions starting from the 2nd of next month.

The first series is titled 'Early Startup Growth Strategy Edition.' It covers topics such as branding, fundraising, and overseas expansion necessary to enhance the capabilities of founders in the early stages of startups, before Series A investment. Prominent founders and VCs who have previously experienced the startup process will open the series as speakers. First, Lee Seung-gyu, co-founder of SmartStudy, which conquered the global market with contents such as 'Pinkfong' and 'Baby Shark,' will be the first speaker to share strategies and experiences on 'Startup Branding.' Lectures by Lee Han-ju, CEO of Bespin Global, and Han Kim, CEO of Altos Ventures, are also prepared. Lee Cheol-won, CEO of Balance Hero, who entered the Indian market, will share his prior startup experiences under the theme 'The Infinite Potential and Experience of the Indian Market.'

Choi Sung-jin, CEO of Kospo, said, "The various experiential assets accumulated by senior founders during the growth process will help junior founders reduce trial and error and promote growth," adding, "Through this project, we aim to create a virtuous cycle structure where senior and junior founders join forces for founder capability enhancement and business growth."
