Sales Start at 11:50 PM on May 22
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte Home Shopping announced on the 18th that it will sell the lifestyle brand ‘L7 숙박권’ from Lotte Hotel through a dual live broadcast special at 11:50 PM on the 22nd.
This special broadcast was planned in collaboration with Lotte Hotel starting in April, in response to increased customer demand for domestic “hokangseu” (a portmanteau of hotel and vacation) due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The products for sale are ‘L7 HOTELS 숙박권’ located in Myeongdong, Gangnam, and Hongdae in Seoul.
In particular, the broadcast will connect the L7 Hongdae rooftop and Lotte Home Shopping’s Yangpyeong-dong headquarters studio via dual live broadcast to vividly showcase the L7 hotel. For hygiene and safety, the hotel strictly manages by mandating all staff to wear masks and continuously checking for fever using thermal cameras and contactless thermometers at the entrance.
Customers who purchase the ‘L7 Hotel 1-day 숙박권’ during the broadcast will receive a paper 숙박권 by delivery. Using the 숙박권, customers can select a branch and book their desired schedule through the L7 Hotel integrated reservation center. The 숙박권 is valid until November 30 of this year and can be used regardless of weekends, holidays, or peak seasons. Customers who purchase on the day will also receive discount coupons for ancillary facilities and convenience store coupons for 7-Eleven. Additionally, through a raffle, ‘L7 Hotel suite room 숙박권 (3 people)’ and ‘Lotte GRS mobile exchange coupons (100 people)’ will be awarded.
Kim Jong-young, Head of Marketing at Lotte Home Shopping, said, “Reflecting the trend of preferring short-term and nearby vacations over overseas travel due to COVID-19, we planned this broadcast in collaboration with Lotte Hotel. We focused on providing hokangseu products that can be enjoyed at reasonable prices while maintaining hygiene and safety, and through this opportunity, we plan to continuously introduce various premium products through affiliate collaboration.”
