Gangdong-gu Holds Opening Ceremony of 'Open Art Museum: Sometimes a Museum; Take a Short Break' on the 13th at the District Office Lobby and 'Todak Todak Healing Concert' at the Open Yard in Front of the Office

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 13th, Lee Jung-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the 'Open Art Museum "Sometimes a Museum; Take a Break"' held in the lobby on the first floor of Gangdong-gu Office, and the 'Todak Todak Healing Concert' held at the Open Yard in front of the district office.


Mayor Lee Jung-hoon of Gangdong-gu said, "This event was prepared to provide an opportunity for healing and rest to volunteers, medical staff, Saemaeul Women's Association and Saemaeul Disinfection Team, residents, and public officials who always work hard on civil affairs, generously supporting the overcoming of COVID-19," adding, "I hope that through culture and arts, everyone can comfort their tired hearts and gain vitality."


The 'Gangdong-gu Office Open Art Museum,' which has decorated the 2nd to 5th floors of the main building of the district office as exhibition spaces, is displaying about 210 works by famous Korean contemporary artists until the end of the year. At the opening ceremony, a 'Art Exhibition Rounding' was also held along with an explanation of the exhibition by Kim Yong-im, CEO of Gallery Y, who planned the exhibition.


Also, the 'Healing Concert' held at the Open Yard was filled with performances such as electronic violin, popera, and acoustic guitar, delivering an emotional experience.
