[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Sweet Spot, a popup store brokerage platform company, announced on the 14th that it has signed an exclusive consignment contract for popup stores with KINTEX.
Sweet Spot will exclusively operate popup stores in a total of four dedicated spaces within KINTEX Exhibition Halls 1 and 2. The first operation took place during the '53rd MBC Architecture Expo' held last week, where a wine popup store was conducted.
KINTEX in Ilsan is the largest exhibition and convention center in Korea, with an exhibition area exceeding 100,000㎡ and approximately 6 million visitors annually.
Kim Jeongsu, CEO of Sweet Spot, said, "We are focusing on acquiring and analyzing extensive data on local commercial districts and floating populations through our popup store operation know-how," adding, "We will provide sales maximization and promotional effects through customized services for customers."
