[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] # When a child carrying an IoT (Internet of Things) device for the Children's Safety Service goes missing and a guardian reports it through an app, the report is received in real-time at the district office's integrated operation center. The child's location is immediately confirmed through GPS and IoT sensors. Based on this, CCTV footage is quickly reviewed to find the missing child.

# In case of incidents such as kidnapping, robbery, fire, or rescue emergencies, related agencies like the police station and fire department can check CCTV footage provided by the Guro-gu Integrated Operation Center in real-time and dispatch emergency responders promptly.

Guro-gu (District Mayor Lee Seong) has completed the establishment of the 'Smart City Integrated Platform.'

On the 12th, Guro-gu announced that to ensure safe and efficient urban management, it has built a 'Smart City Integrated Platform' that links IoT projects operated by various district office departments with the integrated operation center's (control center) CCTV in real-time.

To this end, Guro-gu connected IoT smart projects promoted by the district office, including ▲special schools and children's safety care ▲smart intersection alerts ▲smart security lights ▲parking violation monitoring system ▲illegal garbage dumping surveillance ▲IoT and public Wi-Fi network operation ▲flood management system, to the integrated platform, enabling real-time video monitoring.

Additionally, a system was created to provide real-time CCTV footage to related agencies such as police stations and fire departments through the integrated platform during 112 and 119 emergency dispatches, disaster support, social vulnerable group assistance, and emergency situations.

In the future, the platform plans to link with more diverse smart safety services such as women's safety, electronic anklet crime prevention, and wanted vehicle searches.

With the establishment of the 'Smart City Integrated Platform,' Guro-gu can monitor various IoT urban management video information related to safety, traffic, environment, and security 24 hours a day at the integrated operation center.

By linking IoT services with CCTV footage, it is possible to respond swiftly to emergencies, protecting residents' lives and property, and enabling proactive and active responses to various urban situations.

The 'Smart City Integrated Platform' construction project was funded with a total budget of 1.2 billion KRW, including 600 million KRW in national funds selected through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's competition last year and 600 million KRW from the district budget.
